Good thing I opened this morning’s email! The vendor for The Same Moon goods & gifts is offering 50 percent off all apparel today — Nov. 16, 2021 — only! Might make a fun holiday gift … T-shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops, onesies …

(NOTE: Please order a size up. I usually wear a medium in T-shirts but definitely need a large in this model.)

The Japanese kanji on the shirt I’m wearing in the photo (and as I write) reads “onaji tsuki” — which means, “The Same Moon.” (Find the collection here.)

The other design, based on the cover of my memoir, The Same Moon, includes kanji that reads “futatsu no sekai ni, onaji tsuki” — “two worlds but the same moon.” (Find the collection here.)

I love both of these designs, because they remind me that we all look up at the same moon, no matter where we are or what we believe. I see them as symbols of unity.
