When it comes to storytelling, I have found two things to be consistently true.
I have observed them in my interviews with hundreds of people for journalism and public relations pieces, in classrooms full of college students, in a retirement community writing group, in graduate school workshops and in writer critique groups:
- Everyone has a story (or a hundred) to share.
- The hardest part of telling a story is getting started.
That second one is where I can help.
I am offering Memoir Moment classes with the goal of encouraging you to start—or continue—writing and to give you tools to help.
Join me for an hour each Tuesday in January 2021, and I will walk you through a process of turning a life moment into a story.
