1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
6 tablespoons olive oil
Mix all ingredients in jar and shake well.
Thanks to my late Great Aunt Grace, who in 1999 suggested this dressing be included in our family’s four-generation cookbook. She gave credit to The Best of Bridge. (I adapted it slightly here. It’s easy to customize with herbs.)
